  • What types of injuries are covered by workers’ compensation?
    Workers’ compensation includes physical and mental injuries that occur in the course and scope of employment. The Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board also has jurisdiction over claims of discrimination resulting from a workplace injury or report of workplace injury, as well as claims of serious and willful misconduct.
  • Do you represent employees in their workers’ compensation and/or employment law cases?
    Peetz Law primarily represents employers and insurance providers; however, we do accept limited cases on behalf of the employee after a thorough conflict of interest check.
  • Do you accept workers’ compensation cases on behalf of uninsured employers?
    Peetz Law does accept cases on behalf of legally uninsured employers, as well as self-insured employers. We do not accept cases on behalf of unlawfully uninsured employers.
  • Do you accept employment cases on behalf of uninsured employers?
    Yes, Peetz Law does accept employment cases on behalf of employers that do not have Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI).
  • What geographic areas do you service?
    We service Southern California, including the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Ventura and Kern.
